Social Impact Hub Foundation
ABOUT
The Social Impact Hub Foundation is a company limited by guarantee and registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) as a Public Benevolent Institution, and has deductible gift recipient (DGR) endorsement. Donations over $2 are tax deductible. The Foundation receives an annual donation from Social Impact Hub, and seeks other philanthropic funding to sustain its work.
Auspicing
Given our DGR1 status, we can accept funds from charitable foundations, including DGR2 entities, and issue tax deductible receipts. As part of an auspice arrangement, we can enter into Auspicing Agreements and provide funds to auspicees to undertake specific projects which are consistent with our objects and purposes. Michele Goldman
Director
Michele is CEO of Asthma Australia, having supported the merger of several Asthma Foundations to form a stronger, national body. She is leading the organisation in developing new approaches to change the trajectory for people with asthma. She was previously CEO for the School for Social Entrepreneurs, an organisation which provided learning programs to support sustainable social enterprises.
Her career has spanned both the corporate, social enterprise and not-for-profit sectors. A strategic thinker with a strong background in marketing and communications, she is passionate about driving collaborative approaches to achieve progress where single organisations are limited and developing partnerships to increase organisational capacity and impact.
Michele is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and an alumnus of the Sydney Leadership Program and the inaugural Social Impact Leadership Australia program.
She is currently a Director of JewishCare and has held board roles with The Housing Connection and Royal Hospital for Women Foundation.

Daniel Grynberg
Director
Daniel is an experienced lawyer, director and facilitator. He is the Chief Executive Officer of My Specialised Accommodation Solutions. He is responsible for the management and growth of a portfolio of Specialist Disability Accommodation homes seed-funded by Macquarie Asset Management.
He serves as non-executive director and investor representative in a number of businesses including LongView Real Estate. He currently serves on the board or advisory committee of number of for purpose organisations, including The Social Impact Hub, Scaling Impact, The Choice Foundation, and the Sydney Jewish Museum.
He is a director of The Bread & Butter Project, Australia’s first social enterprise artisanal bakery, which exists to train refugees and asylum seekers and help find them sustainable long-term employment.
Prior to joining MySAS, Daniel commenced his career as a lawyer at Freehills, and served in a number of senior in-house legal and business affairs roles, including nearly a decade as General Counsel for the Meriton Group, Australia’s largest developer and owner of residential property. He has served as CEO of a community fundraising and strategic planning organisation.

Jessica Mendoza-Roth
Director
Jessica is the Founder and Director of the Social Impact Hub. She is also a consultant to the impact investment sector, having served as the Impact Strategist for Blue River Group, an independent impact investment services firm, and opened the Sydney office of Impact Investment Group. Previously, Jessica was a Solicitor at King & Wood Mallesons in Sydney and holds a B.A. and LL.B. (with First Class Honours) from UNSW and a LL.M. from Harvard Law School.
FOUNDATION OBJECTIVES
The Social Impact Hub Foundation’s mission is to relieve the disadvantage and suffering of persons experiencing poverty or distress (including sickness, disability, destitution, suffering, misfortune or helplessness) (Disadvantaged Persons) by carrying out activities that provide relief to Disadvantaged Persons primarily in the form of support of and collaboration with mission aligned organisations (Public Benefit Organisations), and for that purpose to:
Identify, engaging and developing partnerships with organisations who share the Foundation’s purpose of relieving disadvantage and suffering of Disadvantaged Persons;
Raise funds and providing financial assistance to organisations to assist them to advance their purpose or undertake specific projects which achieve this purpose;
Work in partnership with, or otherwise in co-operation with, organisations on projects that achieve the Foundation’s purpose, including building capacity and improving expertise for organisations to sustain and scale the impact of organisations;
Develop and provide education programs specifically for organisations to sustain and scale the impact of organisations to relieve the disadvantage and suffering of Disadvantaged Persons.
